Our tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel at 5:00 AM. We will depart from Lima and head south towards Paracas on a journey of approximately 4 hours.
At around 9:00 AM, we will arrive in Paracas and board our motorboats for a tour of the Ballestas Islands. During the trip, we will observe a stunning array of wildlife, including sea lions, pelicans, Humboldt penguins, and other seabirds. On the return, we will get a clear view of the mysterious “Candelabro,” a giant geoglyph etched into the desert peninsula, similar to the Nazca Lines.
Upon returning to the dock, we will transfer to our vehicle for a 1-hour drive to the city of Ica. Along the way, we will stop at an artisan winery where you will see a demonstration of traditional wine and Pisco production. Here, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at your own expense.
Next, we will visit the famous Huacachina Lagoon, known as the “Oasis of America.” This beautiful place is surrounded by palm trees, huarangos, and immense sand dunes. We will take a brief tour around the lagoon before starting our adventure on wheels.
Get ready for an adrenaline rush as we hop into the buggies (sand carts) for a thrilling ride across the massive dunes of Huacachina. During this 1-hour adventure, you will also have the chance to practice the exciting sport of sandboarding on the desert slopes.
After completing our activities, we will begin the return journey to Lima, arriving at your hotel at approximately 6:00 PM to conclude a long and unforgettable day of adventure.
